Hi, I'm Hassan Gul
I'm a Computer Vision Engineer and AI Specialist based in Islamabad, Pakistan, and I build machines that see. Specifically, I build systems that read human motion in real time — turning live video into biomechanical insight, tracked athletes, and performance data that coaches and sports scientists can actually act on.
I go by Hassan Gul, but I'm also known as Muhammad Hassan Gul or simply Muhammad Hassan — same person, same work. This page is where the name "Hassan Gul" lives on this site, alongside my resume and the computer vision guide I wrote for people who want to understand what I do.
What I Do
My day-to-day work sits at the intersection of deep learning and production engineering. That means designing and training models, then doing the less glamorous but crucial work of making them fast and reliable in production — quantization, TensorRT acceleration, containerization, and profiling until the latency is right.
- Real-time pose estimation — lightweight keypoint models that localize joints on streaming footage in under 30 milliseconds.
- Multi-object tracking — YOLO detection plus ByteTrack and DeepSORT to keep player identities stable through heavy occlusion.
- Sports analytics — translating multi-camera pose data into standardized biomechanical performance reports.
- Edge AI — optimizing models for on-device inference with TensorRT, ONNX Runtime and CUDA.
Where I've Worked
I'm currently a Computer Vision Engineer (Part-Time) at ID Sports Ventures in Berlin, Germany (Jan 2026 — Present), architecting real-time video analytics that track athlete performance during live competition. Before that I was a full-time Computer Vision Engineer at the same company (Sep 2025 — Dec 2025), where I built end-to-end pipelines for automated athlete motion analysis.
Earlier, I worked as a Software Engineer at Oxmite Digital Ltd (Jul 2025 — Aug 2025), building FastAPI backends for image and video processing and raising code coverage to 85% with robust test suites.
